24-year-old Jaqorius D'Sean Willis was shot multiple times at a home in the 1900 block of Downing Street. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he died from his wounds shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Detectives believe Willis had gotten into a dispute with at least one other man and that argument led to gunfire. Police believe Willis might have also fired some shots during the fight.

Police did take two people in for questioning and they are looking for a 3rd person. Officers say two cars were hit by gunfire during this dispute.

The Caddo Parish coroner's office is conducting an autopsy.

This is the 8th murder in Shreveport since the beginning of the year.
