Shreveport Police Make Gun and Drug Arrest Via Crime Stoppers

On May 31st, 2023, members of the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Abatement Team conducted a follow-up investigation to a criminal complaint submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers. Agents searched a residence in the 6800 block of Klug Pines Road and seized two firearms and a large amount of narcotics.

After further investigation into the matter warrants were issued for the arrest of Hayden Durfee (2-13-01) for his alleged involvement in the incident.

On June 12th, 2023, members of the Shreveport Police Warrants Unit arrested Durfee for his outstanding warrants. Durfee is charged with one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, one count of possession of Schedule I with intent to distribute, and one count of Illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance.

The firearm and narcotics were seized as evidence.

We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
