If I'm being honest, not only have I wanted to snoop inside these super cute condos on Fairfield at Kings Highway in Shreveport for a long time, I really wanted to live in one during my younger years. I thought the stucco exterior was crazy fancy and loved the fact that they featured multiple floors. I thought that was the height of sophistication! After all, how many two-story homes do you see around our area? Of course, these condos are still are pretty snazzy, it would just be hard for me to shoehorn a few horses into a condo. ;)

This super cute condo was built in 1985 in the Fairfield Crossing community and is on offer for $162,000 by Donna Webber at Diamond Realty and Associates.

This 2 bedroom, 2½ bath condo would be perfect for a young single or a couple on the go. And at $137 per square foot, you're getting a lot of value for your money. Yes, you could be paying less than $1,000 a month to own your own condo right smack in the middle of Shreveport. I've always heard that a lot of the medical school students lived in this community so it could potentially become a great investment property for you, too. There is a homeowner's association and dues are $150 per month and that includes your sewer and water. Let's take a look, shall we?

Louisiana Vampire Author Anne Rice's New Orleans Mansion is For Sale

Before famed Louisiana author Anne Rice died in December of 2021, she brought us an incredible wealth of literature. Starting in 1976 with her first published book Interview with the Vampire, Rice captured the imagination of fans around the world. In total she penned 36 novels, including four under the nom de plume A.N. Roquelaure, two more under a different pen name (Anne Rampling), one with her son, Christopher Rice, and one non-fiction book. Her success brought her enough money to purchase this historic (and reportedly haunted) mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Now, this magnificent piece of literary history is up for sale - and it's even been reduced. The price has been slashed by $600,000, and now sits just below the $4 million mark.

If you like what you see, and you'd like to live like the Louisiana Vampire Queen Anne Rice did - just visit the realtor's page and put in an offer!
