Selling Alcohol to Minors Lands 3 in Jail in Bossier

In an effort to prevent the sale of alcohol to underage buyers, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office/Bossier City Narcotics Task Force conducted an undercover operation yesterday, Tuesday, June 7, that resulted in the arrests of three persons.

Following the investigation of store clerks possibly selling alcohol to minors, three persons were arrested.

After receiving a tip regarding the possible underage sales, detectives investigated the Shed Road Mini Mart in Bossier City.

The Illegal Activity Started Before Police Even Entered The Store

According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, before entering the store, detectives witnessed Dajerrion Rayson, 18, handing one of the bottles of alcohol he had just purchased in the store to another underaged person outside the store.

Rayson was arrested by summons and charged with one count of purchasing alcohol for a minor.

Detectives report that they then entered the store and arrested the store clerk for selling alcohol to a minor. Mohammed Abdulqader was arrested by summons and charged with two counts of selling alcohol to a minor.

Police Then Moved To Another Location And Found Another Violator

During their investigation of another store, detectives arrested by summons Leeteesha Walker, the store clerk at the Chevron Gas station in the 3800 block of Industrial Drive, and charged her with one count of selling alcohol to minors.

The report also indicates that detectives additionally investigated two other stores including the Valero on Industrial Drive and the Food Mart on Swan Lake Road. Both stores complied with the law and did no sell alcohol to underage buyers.
