The wait is nearly over! It's almost time for the Olympics!
In just over a week, some of the finest athletes in all of America will compete for the gold in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
From what we can tell, there are a few events scheduled on July 24 and 25, but the opening ceremony is slated for Friday, July 26 and the games will run through August 11.
While the world awaits the competition in the traditional Summer Olympics sports like swimming, rowing, tennis, equestrian, volleyball and golf, our minds began to ponder how differently things would appear if the Olympics were limited to exclusively Louisiana lifestyle.
No one can argue that life here in Louisiana is certainly unique, so what if the gold, silver and bronze would go to those best suited to survive here in our part of the world.
