Missing Person Alert: Webster Parish Sheriff Searching For Lacey Mann
The Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office is officially turning to the community for help as the search for a missing Shongaloo woman enters a critical stage.
Despite an exhaustive, "all-out" effort by local law enforcement and search teams, 33-year-old Lacey Mann has yet to be located.
Lacey was first reported missing around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7th from her residence located in the 1300 block of LA Alt. Hwy 2. According to Major Bobby Igo III, the circumstances of her disappearance are particularly concerning, as information suggests she may have wandered away from her home due to ongoing medical issues.
The Sheriff's Office has deployed a massive tactical response to navigate the difficult terrain surrounding the area. Major Igo confirmed that teams are currently utilizing K-9 units, four-wheelers, and high-tech drones to scour the landscape, which includes several heavily wooded and hard-to-reach areas.
Physical Description: To assist the public in identification, officials have provided the following description:
Height: 5’0”
Weight: Approximately 95 lbs (thin build)
Eyes: Green
Hair: Brown
Law enforcement is emphasizing that in cases like this, a tip from a neighbor or a driver can make all the difference. “Often, the public plays a big part in helping locate a missing person,” Major Igo stated. “We will continue to search for this lady and any information we receive will be appreciated.”
How You Can Help: If you live in the Shongaloo area, please check your property, outbuildings, and any outdoor surveillance or doorbell camera footage from Tuesday morning. If you believe you have seen Lacey Mann or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please get in touch with the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office immediately.
