Run with the Nuns to Celebrate 10 Years, Raise Money for Children’s Miracle Network Oct. 15
Motorcycles, music, food and nuns... Year 10 of Run with the Nuns is sure to be the best yet!
Who's ready to Run with the Nuns?! The annual event to raise money for Children's Miracle Network is celebrating 10 years on Saturday, October 15. This year, the event will take place at the Stage at Silver Star Smokehouse in Bossier City. The fun starts at 7:30 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.
This year will feature motorcycle and bicycle rides.
The motorcycle ride will be a two-hour guided ride led by lead nun, Sister Ameline Theriot. There will also be a few bicycle rides for you to choose from; 27 miles, 41 miles, and 63 miles. The bicycle tour will start and end at First Baptist Church Haughton. You'll also enjoy a blessing of the bikes, breakfast, lunch, tattoo and bike awards, and live music throughout the day.

Motorcyclists, bicyclists and non-riders can all register. Admission will include a meal ticket for both breakfast and lunch. Commemorative T-shirts are also available to purchase in advance online or at the event.
Run with the Nuns X will also feature a concert from Neal McCoy.
The show will begin at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. Ticket for the concert must be purchased separately.

7:30 a.m. - Registration opens at The Stage for Motorcycles and Haughton First Baptist Church for Bicycles
7:30-9 a.m. - Breakfast at The Stage
7:45 a.m. Blessing of Bicyclists at Haughton First Baptist Church with Father Rothell Price
8 a.m. - Bicycle Tours begin – 27 mile, 41 mile and 63 mile route options
9 a.m. - Blessing of the Motorcyclists at The Stage with Msgr. Earl Provenza
9:15 a.m. - Sister Ameline Theriot leads the bikers and nuns on a guided ride
10:45-11 a.m. - Miracle Kids welcome the bikers back to The Stage
11 a.m. Earshot Graffiti – Live Band/Lunch
12 p.m. - Humanitarian Award presented
7 p.m. - Doors open for Neal McCoy Concert
8 p.m. Neal McCoy Concert
