Rubba Boot Crawfish Co., the beloved local eatery known for its perfectly seasoned mudbugs and traffic-stopping popularity, is officially opening its third location and making its triumphant debut across the river.

The company took to its legendary Facebook page to announce the brand-new, dedicated crawfish pick-up spot at 1970 Airline Drive.

This expansion is a massive vote of confidence for the local crawfish scene and marks Rubba Boot’s first-ever permanent presence in Bossier, solidifying their status as a regional powerhouse.

Does Rubba Boot Intentionally Cause Traffic Headaches?

It’s no secret that when the crawfish are excellent, Shreveport shows up in massive droves. Rubba Boot’s success has made its original location on Youree Drive infamous among commuters a badge of honor that owner Barret Ross Oliver wears with pride.

Many folks joke that the seasonal pick-up spot makes the already miserable Youree Drive commute even more challenging during the spring rush.

The tradition of the "crawfish jam" continued last year when the company announced its second spot on Mansfield Road, joking on social media that they were “Finna jam up Mansfield Rd. in Feb. with that otha Rubba Boot.” That self-aware, hilarious social media presence, spearheaded by Oliver, is as much a part of the brand’s appeal as the crawfish itself.

The New Frontier: Airline Drive

This next step, the move to Airline Drive in Bossier, is truly significant. It not only brings their signature flavor to a whole new market but also elevates the business to a three-location operation, demonstrating substantial and sustained growth.

Barret Ross Oliver confirmed the news himself, channeling his enthusiasm directly to the fan base that made this growth possible: “Now that it’s official and yall been asking for it HERE YA GO……RUBBA BOOT #3 gonna be SLANGIN THEM CRAWFISH end of January 2026 at 1970 AIRLINE DRIVE BOSSIER…..I GOT THE BEST CUSTOMERS, yall are the reason we can do what we do.”

The three Rubba Boot locations now include:
