September Was a Sad Month For Burger Lovers in Bossier.

Five Guys Burger closed down unexpectedly and we all were super bummed. Since then the building has sat empty. The good news is that in March there will be new life in the building.

Port City has had a few awesome projects in the works. Port City Barbque is not only going to open up a new location in Shreveport but will also be opening up shop on Airline in Bossier in March.

Port City Will Open Up Next to PJ's Coffee in the Old Five Guys Building.

Here is what the Facebook post from Port City said:

"New Locations!! Ok we can't wait any longer to share this news with you!
Starting March 1st 2023 you can find us at 2113 Airline Dr. Bossier City, LA 71111!
On August 1st 2023 we will be opening another location in Shreveport, details for this location are still under wraps due to proprietary information concerning the location.
We have been excited to share this news with all of you as we have been looking to open a 2nd location in Bossier for about a year. We were planning on announcing both new locations but we will have to announce them separately. We apologize for leaving you on the edge of your seats!
We absolutely can't wait to get back to serving you! Shreveport Bossier we are coming to both of you in 2023!"

Port City Caught Everyone's Attention With a Facebook Post Saying They Were Closing So They Could Relocate.

"Follow us for updates on our move. The new location address will be posted in the coming week.
Today was an emotional day. As most of you know we are saying goodbye to our original location. Just a couple of months short of 6 years in that little corner of a gas station. We are so excited about the future and getting this new spot.
It has been a heck of a ride with so many great people. We love you Shreveport and thank you for the memories. We can not wait to be back in the spring to serve you again!
With Love,
Port City Barbque"
