Police Fear Man Who Attempted a Kidnapping May Strike Again

A man that attempted a kidnapping at a Shreveport convenience store Sunday is still on the run and police fear he may strike again.

According to detectives, the man attacked and then robbed a woman at a gas station on Hollywood Avenue. In security cam footage from the gas station, the man is seen tackling the victim and forcing her into her vehicle. At that point, the woman was able  to fight him off and escape. However, following the attack, the suspect was able to make off with some items from the woman's car.

Detectives believe the woman's decision to fight back could have saved her life. They say that if the woman didn't fight back as hard as she did, this man would have abducted and caused serious harm to her.
