NWLA Hispanic Heritage Association Offers 2026 Scholarships

I absolutely love seeing the amazing work being done right here in our community, and this is an opportunity you definitely don't want to pass up.

The Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana (HHANWLA) is officially accepting applications for its 2026 Scholarship Program, and time is running out to get yours in!

If you or a student you know lives or attends school in Northwest Louisiana and has Hispanic heritage, this scholarship was built for you. What makes this program so incredible is how accessible and practical it is. There are no GPA requirements, no income restrictions, and you are still eligible even if you’ve already been awarded other scholarships!

Best of all? These are no-strings-attached funds.

Unlike traditional financial aid that only covers tuition, these scholarships can be used for whatever you actually need to stay in school—whether that’s buying textbooks, filling up your gas tank, buying school supplies, or even paying rent.
