House Fire in North Bossier: No Injuries Reported in Legacy Subdivision

The North Bossier community is proving once again that when one of our own is in need, the 318 shows up in a big way.

On Friday afternoon, a frightening scene unfolded in the Legacy Subdivision as a local home was quickly engulfed in flames.

Thanks to the rapid response of the Bossier City Fire and Police Departments, the fire was contained, and neighboring homes were spared from damage. Most importantly, everyone inside the home managed to get out safely.

However, while the structure was saved from spreading, the family inside has been left devastated, losing nearly everything they own in a single afternoon.

The heartbreak of the situation quickly turned into a mission for local residents and business owners. Leading the charge is the team at Ray’s Tire Barn, located right next door to the affected family. By Friday evening, they had launched a GoFundMe to help their friends get back on their feet.

"This family isn’t just a customer; they’re our friends and a vital part of our Ray’s Tire Barn community," the shop shared in a moving tribute. "Small towns show up for each other, and we know Bossier shows up strong. Let’s wrap our arms around this family the way this community always does."
