New St. Patrick’s Day Festival Coming to Shreveport

If there's one thing Shreveport-Bossier does well, it's festivals!  Festivals are such a large part of our heritage here, we've dedicated an awesome space downtown for just that purpose.

Since it first opened in 1998,  Festival Plaza has hosted festivals and events too numerous to mention.  But just some of those over the years have included, The Shreveport Farmer's Market, Cork Wine Festival, Holiday in Dixie Festival and Carnival, Shreveport Brew, Mudbug Madness, Let the Good Times Roll Festival, and of course, the Grand Daddy of them all, the Red River Revel.

Well, now Shreveport has a new festival coming to Festival Plaza, and it's brought to you by your friends at Mudbug Madness.  Get ready for Paddy in the Plaza!

Paddy in the Plaza will be held Friday, March 17th, 3-11P in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport.  Paddy in the Plaza will food trucks, Guinness Beer, other green beer, and live entertainment, including Cowboy Mouth, and Hollow Decks.

We do a pretty good job of parades around here as well, and if someone could re-organize the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Broadmoor, I'd say Sláinte!
