"I'm a Barbie girl living in a Barbie world"...literally.

Meet Nannette Hammond. Nannette is a 42-year-old stay-at-home mother of five who spends $500,000 in order to look like a Barbie doll.

“I know the other parents talk and gossip about about me but I will tell you what, I don’t really care. Parents can think what they want and say what they want about my appearance but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve taught my children to rise above it.”

According to usmagazine.com, growing up, Nannette was obsessed with Barbie dolls and dreamed that one day she would look just like one. Well, it looks like she's made that dream come true. From her customized pink Barbie cars to her three walk-in closets, otherwise known as her "Barbie playrooms," Nannette has transformed herself into a walking, talking Barbie, admitting that she is obsessed with plastic surgery.

But what do her kids think about their mom's look? They say that they are proud of their mom and takes racy pictures of her to post on Instagram. Nannette says,

“[They] are just so proud of me and what I’ve achieved through surgery. They think I look great — my life is better than Barbie’s now.”

What do you think of how this mom has chosen to live her life? Is she just plain 'off her rocker' or should she receive 'kudos' for being herself and doing what makes her happy, regardless of what others think? But do you think that her behavior could possibly have a negative outcome on her children?
