I have never been impressed with meal prep services, until last night. No, I am not talking about the meal prep that consists of a dried up chicken breast and wilted vegetables, I mean the meal prep that tastes like grandma cooked it and is ready to heat up and enjoy. I stopped by Heat and Eat Catering and was greeted by the friendliest couple who I later found out were the proud owners of Heat and Eat. I ordered six meals and yes, six servings of their banana pudding. I had a friend come over and we tried half a serving of their Mexican Chicken and half a serving of the Pizza Casserole. When we both were able to come up for breath after inhaling our meal, we both locked eyes and agreed those were the best casseroles we have ever had. SORRY MOMS!

The portions at Heat and Eat are very generous. On average a meal costs you about $5. You save money the more quantity you buy. If its just you and a friend or a party of one I highly recommend you trying this whole meal prep thing out. I have realized I don't know how to cook for just one person. Sometimes eating out is cheaper than me cooking at home. Luckily, I realized I can pay $5 and eat at home instead of $10 at a drive through.
