Man Arrested by Shreveport Police for Aggravated Flight

On May 27th, 2023, around 10:45 p.m. officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle at Stoner Avenue and Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. The vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued. The Motorcycle at one point exceeded 120 miles per hour before wrecking at Monkhouse Drive and Interstate 20.
The driver was identified as Jordan Garrett (2-24-04). Garrett was arrested and charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, one count of obstruction of a highway, one count of resisting an officer, and numerous traffic violations.
No injuries were reported. We are required to remind you that suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
