Louisiana’s Most Beautiful Public High School is in Monroe
School can sometimes be a little easier when you've got a beautiful environment around you.
As a kid, I actually liked school. I was good in school and I played every sport I could throughout the year. Not every minute of every day was paradise, but I enjoyed my school years and remember them fondly. Part of that was because my tiny high school was nestled in the picturesque mountains of California and looking back, I think "Wow, what a beautiful setting. We were so spoiled."
In the state of Louisiana, the students at Neville High School are spoiled.
This is according to a list published by Architectural Digest of the "Most Beautiful Public High Schools in America." They looked at schools all across the country and found that Monroe, Louisiana is home to the most gorgeous high school campus in the state. Neville and oldie but a goodie. In fast, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Thanks to a recent massive renovation, this 86-year-old building is beautifully preserved.
Kinda makes you wanna relive the good old days, huh?
