Louisiana Peach Festival 2026: Dates, Schedule, and Event Guide
Did you know that just a quick drive down I-20 from Shreveport-Bossier sits one of the most wonderful festivals in the world?
I’m talking about the Louisiana Peach Festival in Ruston! Every year, the entire state makes its way to Lincoln Parish to "get our peach on," and let me tell you, it is about so much more than just the fruit (though the peaches are incredible).
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you stepped directly into the middle of a charming Hallmark movie, this is your chance. On Saturday, June 6th, Downtown Ruston transforms into a peachy paradise for the 76th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival, presented by b1BANK.
We’re talking over 12 hours of live music, a massive juried arts market, delicious food vendors, and plenty of kids’ activities in the heart of their historic downtown.
This isn't just any local party, either. This is the 2025 Louey Award winner for Festival of the Year! It’s also one of the oldest running festivals in the state, dating all the way back to 1951. It started as a way for local peach farmers to promote their harvest, and it has since grown into a massive tradition that pumps millions of dollars back into our local economy.
Huge congratulations are also in order for this year’s Poster Contest winner, Jenny Lazarus! Her artwork perfectly captures that "uncomplicated" spirit of the festival that we all love.
Whether you are going for the world-famous peach ice cream, the homegrown art, or the live tunes, it’s the perfect day trip for the whole family. Mark your calendars for June 6th and get ready for a full day of peachy fun. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on the festival that literally defines Louisiana summer.
