Louisiana Issues First Evacuations Before Tropical Storm Nate

Tropical Storm Nate is expected to upgrade to a Hurricane before hitting landfall this Sunday. The storm is looking like it'll hit near the Louisiana Mississippi line which could bring lots of rain and potential flooding to the area. Fox News is reporting that Nate has already taken the lives of 22 people in Central America.

East of New Orleans the residents of St. Bernard Parish have already been ordered to start their evacuations ahead of the storm heading their way. Other evacuations for the areas around New Orleans and the barrier islands are also expected to happen in the next few days. With recent storms causing so much damage everyone is taking this one very seriously.

Nate is expected to become a Category 1 Hurricane before making landfall but we've seen with other storms this year that, that can change at any time with the right conditions.
