Is This Still What Ticks Louisiana People Off The Most?

Maybe it's because I've gotten older, and maybe it's because I've become more intolerant of ignorance, but I feel I'm not alone in thinking that some people have just become ruder over the last few years.

Back in 2021, the website, zippia.com, published their findings on a big survey regarding people's biggest pet peeves in each state.

To glean the data for this survey, researchers went through an entire year's worth of Google searches to gauge the most common pet peeve in each of the 50 states.

It's The Biggest Pet Peeve In 15 States And The Overall Winner

And the overall winner was Slow Internet! Yep, that was the number one pet peeve for people in fifteen different states. It even bested burping, which was tops in eleven states.

Littering made the list and so did public displays of affection. But, it was when I read that bragging was tops in five states, including Louisiana, that the train came off the tracks for me.

Bragging was number one for the Bayou State? How could that be? We have so many other great things to be ticked off about, so how could that be the best we can do?

If This Research Were Done Today, Would Louisiana's Biggest Complaint Be Same?

If they conducted the survey again today, would that still be number one?  I mean, I agree that arrogance or bragging is a big problem for me as well, but is it really the biggest complaint that we have in Louisiana?

Don't we just hate stupid people? And people that always have to tell us how it worked for them up in Des Moines?

What about potholes and people not using their blinkers? There are so many to choose from.
