Lottery Winner Still Using Food Stamps

Just when you think that our government can't get any more off balance, in comes the story of Leroy Fick in Michigan.  He wins the $2 MILLION DOLLAR state lottery and continues getting his groceries with food stamps!!  Fick won the lottery nearly a year ago, but keeps on using his tax payer funded food stamp debit card.  He says the state Department of Human Services told him he could keep using it.  And he says nobody’s going to make him feel bad about it.  Fick's attorney says that Fick is unemployed and lives on Social Security benefits (which apparently he’s still receiving as well), so his income qualifies for the assistance.  The lottery winnings are considered “assets” and not “income”.  Man, you don’t have to look far to see what’s wrong with our country do you???  Read the entire story at FoxNews.com
