Mechelle Couch is Kiss Country’s Latest to be Caught in the Act

Truth be told, Mechelle Couch thought the phone call she was getting from us was bad news. Oh, how wrong she was!

We were calling Mechelle because of her daughter Emma. That actually frightened Mechelle a little, until we explained that Emma had told us of this incredible woman that she gets to call Mom.

It was obvious to us that Emma had hit the "Mom Jackpot!" Mechelle's sympathy, kindness, compassion and love for all was just too much to overlook and we couldn't wait to tell her just what Emma had to say about her Mom.

Just look at what Emma wrote about Mechelle and you'll see just how easy it was to name her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Mechelle Couch is someone who has always gone above and beyond for her family, friends, patients, and even strangers. To her, no one is a stranger, but a new friend to her. My mom has always been that person that anyone feels like they can go to about anything. Mechelle currently works at Willis Knighton Pierremont and her patients and family are what keeps her going. She has never been one that does things for others expecting anything in return. She has always been the backbone to our family, but also to anyone else in need. My mom is the type of person that loves to conversate and with the floor that she works on at WKP, sometimes her patients have no one to sit there with them, no one to talk to, no one to be their support as they are battling something that could be terminal or something that one person shouldn`t have to battle on their own, and my mama, Mechelle, has always been that person that wants to make her patients feel like family and less like a burden in the hospital. She truly is one of the good ones and someone who deserves so much in life and whether she wants it or not, she deserves recognition for all that she does. I am lucky to have her as my mother and someone that I am very proud of!
