Local Food – Shreveport Trolley Tour Moveable Feast
This Thursday night the TNT (Thursday Night Trolley) tour will be extra special! The TNT express is stopping at many area eateries for a treat along the historical sight seeing route through the downtown Shreveport scene. For a very small fee, you can sample the cuisine during the trolley stops or pay $30 for all meals along the route.
The TNT Express is a fun, FREE experience every third Thursday of the month. The TNT Express tour rolls through Downtown Shreveport every third Thursday of the month, taking visitors to downtown art, cultural and science attractions including museums, galleries and historical sites. Every month, for the TNT tour, businesses stay open late to give trolley passengers a behind the scenes look not normally available to the general public.
This weeks trolley tour is a little bit different, with the addition of restaurant stops. Check out the planned stops and menu items available to passengers:
Ernest’s Orleans Restaurant – Filé Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, Shrimp Creole
Monsour’s - Pastalaya
Lake Street Dance Hall - Jambalaya and Red Beans and Rice
Noble Savage – Meat Empanadas
Abby Singers – Royal Slider Burger with Fries
Counter Culture @ SciPort – Medium Humphrey Yogurt
artspace - vegetable and cheese quesadillas
Each restaurant is offering a specially priced item or meal for $5 – try one or try all six for $30. Seating is limited – 25 passengers per Trolley. Hop on the TNT Express at the following times:
- 5:30 – 6:15 pm
- 6:15 – 7:00 pm
- 7:00 – 7:45 pm
