Whole Foods is my guilty pleasure. I definitely can't afford it on the regular, but I do regularly stop by and spend $60 on a couple of items from the deli. One day I walked out and saw that Halal Guys were no more and there was a new business moving in.

Zuzul doesn't have a website or anything but I did a little digging. The owner of El Cabo Verde opened Zuzul Coastal Cuisine, and somehow I missed the opening of the new spot. My friend Robert and I dropped by to check out the small joint and the menu didn't disappoint.

The price point was great. My Spicy Shrimp Sandwich was $12 and my friend and I shared a delicious Calamari appetizer that was under $15. The food was packed with unique flavors that made me wonder what cuisine I was actually eating. "Is this Latin Cajun?" I asked myself as I inhaled my lunch.

If you want a new spot to check out for lunch, find Zuzul off 70th across from Whole Foods next to Orange Theory. Keep it local!
