Jasson Fitzgerald Is Latest Caught in the Act Recipient

Reading Jasson Fitzgerald's nomination letter, I assumed it had to be written by his wife. Turns out, Brooke Fitzgerald is Jasson's daughter. That actually makes the nomination letter all the more special.

It's definitely a humbling thing to hear when a spouse raves about the other, but when it's your child who's telling the world just how wonderful you are, it just couldn't be better.

But, in Brooke's letter about her Dad, it was easy to see that Jasson is exactly the type of giving soul we look for, and very deserving of this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Jasson Fitzgerald is the most hardworking and selfless person I know. He has poured his heart into serving the community of Springhill, Louisiana, in countless ways. For over five years, he has faithfully guided and inspired young people as the youth pastor at North Webster Community Church, shaping lives with love and purpose. Beyond the church walls, he helps lead the Grace closet, a ministry that provides clothing and essential items to foster families and anyone in need, showing compassion where it's most needed. Jasson also serves as a police officer in Cotton Valley, dedicating himself to protecting and caring for others. Beyond his many roles in the community, Jasson is a devoted husband and a loving father of two. His heart for service, his faith, and his commitment make him a cornerstone to the community. What inspires me the most about Jasson is that he never seeks re cognition, he simply serves because he truly cares. It is an honor to acknowledge the invaluable role he plays in making a difference.
