It's her passion and trust me, her friends and other motorcycle enthusiasts know just how deep that passion runs.

I would like to tell you about my beautiful friend Jacque Lindsey. Jacque is our A.B.A.T.E of Louisiana ( American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) State Treasurer, Legislative Director and Bossier Parish Chapter President. Jacque devotes endless hours advocating for motorcyclist rights not only in our community but also our state and on national level. She actively promotes awareness to be cautious of all motorcyclist on the road. I've seen her organize and work multiple fund raisers and benefits for our community. From chili cook offs to crawfish boils, often using her own money to raise awareness of motorcyclist. Anyone who has ever done this knows how much time and energy it takes.. knows how overwhelming and exhausting this can be . She actually broke her back several years ago and I have witness her wrench in pain from all the cooking, standing and lifting ... yet she continues her mission and never complains. She volunteers at our local Marks Driving Academy monthly stressing to our upcoming new younger drivers the importance of NOT using the cell phone while driving and watching for riders on the road.
Jacque also donates her time sending endless E. Mails, placing phone calls, going to our state capital and even Washington D.C. to fight for motorcyclist rights and safety. The admiration I have for this woman is beyond words. The passion and fight she has is remarkable. She is on a mission to save lives. With the month of May being Proclaimed Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month-- I just can not think of a more deserving person for you to recognize as the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
