
Ex-CIA Officer Warns Known Terrorist Operating in Louisiana
LOUISIANA (KMDL-FM) - Ex-CIA officer Sarah Adams has posted an alarming warning to Louisiana to be on the lookout for a man with known ties to the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab, said to be operating out of three Parishes in Louisiana.
Who Is Ex-CIA Agent Sarah Adams?
Sarah Adams is a former intelligence officer who worked in counter-terrorism for the Central Intelligence Agency and later became a national-security researcher, author, and public commentator on terrorism and global threats.
According to jlwilkinsonconsulting.com Adams worked as a targeting officer at the CIA. In intelligence work, a targeter’s job is to analyze information from many sources to identify and track individuals or networks considered security threats.

Since leaving government work, Adams has continued working in the national-security field including advising organizations on terrorism and global security risks, conducting research related to extremist groups and international threats, and more.
Ali Khalaf Louisiana Sleeper Cells
In a post from earlier this year, 2026, Sarah Adams released an alarming warning to residents of Louisiana to be on the lookout for a man known to have ties with the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab. Adams claims that this man, Ali Khalaf from Somalia, is known to operate a number of sleeper cells out of three Louisiana Parishes:
Orleans Parish
St. Mary Parish
Lafourche Parish

In a post to Sarah Adam's X account, she says that Ali Khalaf is the most important al-Shabaab sleeper operative in the United States and that his is an active member of both al-Qaeda and ISIS.
After entry (to the U.S.) Ali relocated to Louisiana, where he became an active participant in an embedded operational environment. His placement there was not incidental. Louisiana functioned as a staging location and testing environment.

Adams stresses that if you see Ali Khalaf, do not approach him, but instead report it to law enforcement and federal authorities immediately.
