New Chipotle with Drive-Thru “Chipotlane” Coming to South Shreveport

Shreveport residents can celebrate knowing that there is another new eatery being built in South Shreveport, and this one will be one of a kind. If you love fast-casual spots like Chipotle, this is about to be your new spot to drop in for a quick dinner. Another Chipotle is coming to Shreveport.

Have you ever heard of a Chipotle having a drive thru option? Chipotle locations are now being built with drive-thru lanes that are called "Chipotlanes". We love a clever name, don't we? A Chipotlane isn't what you would consider a traditional drive thru, this one won't have a menu posted with a speaker box and someone taking your order, this is very similar to the "Mobile order" lane at Chick-fil-A where you drive up and you pick up your order that you ordered through your Chipotle App. This is meant to make the experience for the customer convenient and, most of all efficient. This unique Chipotle with a Chipotlane isn't going to be special to Shreveport the fast casual eatery will open more than 80% of all future restaurants with a Chipotlane.

The New Chipotle Will Take Over Mansfield Road

According to the site plans on ShreveportCaddoMPC.com, we can expect this Chipotle to be unlike any other Chipotle we have experienced; they will have a drive-thru. When was the last time you pulled up to a Chipotle and wished you could just sit in the car and order?

The other two Chipotle locations are near Youree Drive and E. 70th St. in front of Best Buy in Shreveport and on Airline Drive. The address for the new Chipotle is listed as 9500 Mansfield Road in Shreveport. Unfortunately, there has not been an opening date announced yet, however, we are eager and excited for this addition to our town.
