Craving some delicious sushi? Your options are endless. Needing some great Mexican food? You have to be specific: Tex-Mex or authentic? It doesn't matter we have options. Most restaurants hyper-focus on cuisine from one particular place, however, there is a hidden gem in Haughton that refuses to let us put them in a box, and maybe that's why they stay so busy.

H Latin Food offers delicious Latin food. Notice I didn't just say Mexican Food. They are giving us a tour of all the delicious options that Southern America has to offer. Have you ever been curious about Honduran food? This restaurant offers a variety of cuisines: Mexican, Honduran, Brazilian, and Caribbean were the four main options I noticed on the menu. Obviously, the menu is vast, however, I zeroed in on a few options, and I now understand why this place is a crowd favorite.

The Empanadas Stole the Show at H Latin Food in Haughton

Yes, we ordered the big Parilla dinner, which comfortably fed four of us; who doesn't love a big plate loaded with steak, chicken, shrimp, and sausage, right? However, let's get back to those empanadas. They were packed with perfectly seasoned shredded chicken. Although the dough or the outside crust may throw you off with it being a bright orange, these are some of the best empanadas I have had in a long time and they are not spicy. They were made fresh and perfectly cooked. If you want to add some heat to these, just ask for the habanero sauce.
