What is the perfect name for a pizza packed with Louisiana flavors? The Rougarou Pizza, of course. The crew at Flying Heart made a gumbo base just for this pizza. The pie is loaded with chicken breast, red onions, bell peppers, and andouille sausage. Should they have added celery to make up the "Holy Trinity" and add it to the pizza?
Flying Heart isn't just celebrating Carnival Season with the Rougarou Pizza they have all kinds of Mardi Gras specials. Locals love the Muffuletta pizza that is loaded with ham, salami, creamy gouda cheese, and topped with black and green olives.
