Don’t Miss El Cabo Verde’s FREE Cinco de Mayo Bash in Shreveport
It won't be long until we see several Shreveport residents asking for information on Cinco De Mayo parties and events. What better excuse to get your friends together for margaritas and tacos? Although Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, we all still find ways to celebrate the Battle of Puebla. Cinco De Mayo has become a celebration of Mexican culture. Mexican-American culture is celebrated in a very fun way through traditional Mexican foods, festivals, parades, and dance.
One Shreveport Restaurant is Always Celebrating Mexican Culture
El Cabo Verde's Celebration of Mexican culture is constant, from epic tequila dinners to the famous Cinco De Mayo party that is thrown every single year. The best part about the Cinco de Mayo party is that you don't have to be a member of the Provenance Community to be able to attend the celebration.
The Cinco de Mayo party takes over Windrush Park in the Provenance Community on Sunday, May 4th, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event is a family-friendly Cinco de Mayo celebration where we can enjoy delicious authentic Mexican food and festive drinks. A Mariachi band and other live music will entertain us, and there will be countless activities designed just for kids.
The entire crew at El Cabo Verde wants you to show up and celebrate Cinco de Mayo with them. The event is free and open to the public. El Cabo said, "Bring your family and friends for a day of great food, great music, and even better company. Let’s make this annual fiesta the best one yet."
Windrush Park is located at 1968 Bridgewater Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana.
