If you have gone to Cantina Laredo on a Sunday lately you know that it has become a hot spot for a good Mexican Brunch. Everyone wondered what was happening when the announcement came that Cantina Laredo had sold to a local businessman. If Cantina had been busy then why did it sell out?
The Owner of Casa Jimador Has Purchased Cantina Laredo With Intentions to Close Down Operations.
According to ShreveportBossierJournal.com, last Friday the owner of Casa Jimador, Ramiro Gutierrez closed the deal to purchase Cantina Laredo. Gutierrez claims he loves the location He plans to close down Cantina Laredo in 2 to 3 Weeks to remodel and make room for a new concept. Shreveport’s Shoppes at Bellemead, located off of Youree Drive will have the new Casa Cantina which kind of sounds like a merge of two businesses but it is strictly owned by Ramiro Gutierez and Cantina Laredo will be no more.
You have less than three weeks to try and get your Cantina Laredo fix, so if you are a huge fan of their food you need to make a point to go there as soon as possible. The clock is ticking for this Shreveport restaurant to shut down.
Casa Jimador has become a favorite for several locals and they are on a mission to expand. Not only is Casa Cantina about to become a reality, but according to ShreveportBossierJournal.com, North Bossier is about to get a Casa Jimador location.
We don't have a target opening date for the North Bossier spot yet the community is still waiting on that announcement.
