Did you know there is a place just 3 hours from Shreveport that lets you cuddle baby alligators? Well, I should probably add that you don't actually cuddle these baby gators but you can hold them. The Gator Chateau is located in Jennings, Louisiana and it is an epic place for gator lovers to be up close and personal with American alligators.

The crew at Gator Chateau have coined themselves the educational ambassadors for gators. Their goal is to educate the public and teach them all about the wonderful creatures that live in our Louisiana swamps.

Gator Chateau offers field trips and group tours. During these group tours alligator handlers give lessons on the gators, you can learn everything from their habitat, what they eat, how they grow, to how the gators are cared for at the facility. After every lesson, you can hold one of the baby gators and take a picture with them.

Gator Chateau Has Gone Viral on Facebook Because of a Baby Gator Mardi Gras Parade

Does it get any cuter than baby gators in a baby float? The answer is no. Although it doesn't look like that many gators showed up to the Mardi Gras parade it looks like a good time was had by all. Isn't that the point of a Mardi Gras parade? We are all about letting the good times roll no matter the size of the float. You can see these cute babies for yourself the next time you travel down south. Gator Chateau is located at 100 Rue de l'Acadie, Jennings, LA 70546
