Another Shreveport Restaurant is Closing for Good

November 2023 Was an Exciting Month for Line Avenue in Shreveport.

The Tap Room opened up on Line Avenue and it promised to be a fun hangout for people of all walks of life. Who doesn't want an epic selection of beer, whiskey, and tequila right?

The Tap Room took over the space that Line Ave Pie and Brew left behind. Line Ave Pie and Brew opened up in 2021 after PizzaRev left an empty spot on Line Avenue in Shreveport.

Unfortunately, After 8 Months in Business, The Tap Room is Closing Its Doors.

Owner Jason Heffern took to social media for the announcement and said "This Sunday, July 28, 2024, will be our last day of operation. We have what we feel is a great concept. Unfortunately, it did not pan out as we had hoped."

Jason Heffern thanked his staff and family and went on to thank their loyal customers and the community "To the Shreveport/Bossier community, thank you for your support. Please continue to support everything local. Restaurants, bars, entertainment, clothing stores etc.! I can’t stress how important this is. These people truly give all they have to take care of you. So many say that the independent is the backbone of the local economy. While that is a very true statement, the more accurate description is that they are the actual lifeblood of what we do. Every aspect of every industry. Thank you again for everything and all the support! Please come out and support these guys throughout the rest of this week. They have given a lot and I hope all the best for them in their upcoming opportunities.
