There Has Been a Comedy Revival in Bossier.

Don't Take This Serious Comedy has invested a lot of time and love into the community and brought several nights of laughter our way. Don’t Take This Serious Comedy announced a local comedy competition at the East Bank Theater in February. LoCo Fest was on a mission to find the "Local Comedy Champion". Over 30 comedians tried out and only 10 made it to the final stage. All 10 had about 5 minutes to make the crowd laugh and hopefully earn the vote from the public. Since LoCo Fest it feels like Bossier can't get enough of comedy Nights.

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce is Bringing a Night of Comedy for a Great Cause.

Tickets are only $25 and who doesn't love a night of delicious food and good drinks filled with laughter?

Proceeds from “Comedy for a Cause” will support Caddo Smart Start. This local organization is dedicated to fostering early childhood education and development. Programs at Caddo Smart Start provide a high quality early childhood instruction and care that promote educational experiences to prepare children to enter kindergarten."
