Shreveport Teen Arrested for Fighting at Booker T. Washington High School

Yesterday, a 17 year-old was arrested following a fight at Booker T. Washington High School.

Around lunch time, a Deputy who was assigned to the school, was alerted by school security personnel about a fight involving two students.

After speaking with witnesses and investigating the incident, the Deputy concluded that the 17 year-old Ze'marquies Z. Bryant allegedly instigated the altercation by punching another student in the face.

Bryant was arrested and charged with Simple Battery and Disturbing the Peace and transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.

"Bryant is not enrolled at Booker T. Washington High School and was at the school with his stepfather to pick up a relative at the time of the incident.

There were no reported injuries requiring emergency medical treatment."
