
Shreveport Man Arrested for Shooting Discount Lube Employee
Yesterday afternoon Shreveport Police got a frantic call about a shooting at an oil-change place on Nelson Street.
SPD showed up to Discount Lube and began interviewing witnesses. Police were told that a screaming match broke out between a customer and an employee over the cost of a service. The customer went to his car, and came back holding a gun behind his leg. The employee noticed the gun and attempted to run to his car.
The employee heard a pop and noticed that he had been shot in the leg. He was rushed by private car to a nearby fire station, and from there he was taken to a hospital. His injuries were considered life-threatening.
25 year-old Sami Rahman returned to the scene and was arrested by SPD for the shooting. He was charged with 2nd Degree Aggravated Battery.
