Shreveport Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Juvenile

On Saturday, Shreveport Police got a call from a very upset mother from Willis Knighton South Hospital.

The mother said her juvenile son told her that he had been sexually assaulted. The child was interviewed by a councilor and gave enough details including where the assault happened to nail-down a suspect.

SPD Crime Scene Investigators went to the location of the assault and they were able to gather enough evidence to get an arrest warrant. SPD found Marcus Howard at the home and was arrested without a fight. He was interviewed at the Shreveport Police Complex, and booked in to Shreveport City Jail on one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
