Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Shooting Case
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police make Arrest in Shooting
Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 500 block of East Stoner Avenue on September 19th at 10:39PM . Responding officers discovered that a vehicle traveling in the area opened fire at multiple people. Luckily none of the victims were struck by the barrage of gunfire.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation into the incident. After a thorough investigation detectives found Kelvin Higgins (03/1/1996) reportedly shot at the victims and fled the scene.
Detectives and Patrol officers were able to locate Higgins quickly and he was arrested for three counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
