Shreveport Police Seeking Woman Wanted on Multiple Theft Charges
Shreveport Police are once again searching for a woman wanted for ripping-off tenants while having a job as a property manager.
50 year-old Semekia Parker has a pattern of targeting tenants, and she’s now wanted for another theft at Canaan Village Apartments along with Identity Theft.
SPD Investigators say Parker stole tenants’ rent money orders while working as a property manager at an apartment complex and also, lied about her identity to get the job.
She also is said to have used a 22 year-old tenant’s personal information to apply for multiple apartments without their knowledge.
SPD says that Parker was arrested last month on similar charges, and since she's been released has been back at it with the tenant scams.
This isn’t the first time she’s pulled schemes like this, and Shreveport Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to her arrest.
From SPD:
If you have any information on Parker’s whereabouts, please contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. All tips remain confidential.
