Shreveport Police Investigating Claiborne Avenue Homicide

Shreveport Police got a call to the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway on Sunday afternoon to reports of a shooting.

Information from witnesses indicated that a man and woman were sitting inside of a car at the intersection, when they were struck by gunfire. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Tragically, the woman died from her injuries at the hospital.

SPD Detectives are working hard to find details in this case that could bring the shooter to justice.

Shreveport Police are urging anyone with information regarding this shooting to come forward. If you know something, say something so this killer can be identified and be kept from killing again.
