Shreveport Woman Arrested for Hitting Someone With Her Car
Earlier this week, Shreveport Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of Talbot Street.
The caller said his girlfriend, Bridget Brown, was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He told dispatchers that Brown had crashed his Toyota Camry, pinned another woman against a vehicle door, and then hit her with the car.
When SPD Officers got to the scene, Brown was arrested without further incident.
The victim suffered a large cut on her forehead and other injuries after being hit by the car while standing near her Buick Enclave. The impact also damaged the victim’s car. She was taken by the Shreveport Fire Department to Willis-Knighton North Hospital for emergency treatment.
Brown was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with one count of Aggravated Second-Degree Battery and one count of Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property.
