Another fire at an abandoned apartment complex in Shreveport. This latest fire happened at the Jolie Apartments just off of Shreveport Barksdale Highway on Quail Creek shortly before midnight.

Firefighters arrived in less than five minutes of getting the call and found heavy flames and smoke coming from several units in one of the apartment buildings.

Shreveport fire dispatched 12 units to the scene to put this blaze out. More than two
dozen firefighters tackled the fire and they were able to bring it under control.

The apartment complex remains vacant and no one is supposed to be in the complex. It is clearly marked and there is a gate across the roadway to the entrance of the property. Investigators suspect vagrants might have started the blaze, but we don't know why. No one was hurt in the fire and all firefighters are also ok.
