Sports and Pokémon Cards Highlight The Shreveport Card Show This August

Alert all of your collecting friends! The Shreveport Card Show is coming back this summer. Its set to take place on August 1st and 2nd at Acrosports and The Fieldhouse, located at 735 American Way in Shreveport. This highly anticipated return promises a weekend filled with buying, selling, and trading sports cards and memorabilia. Featuring cards from NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, WWE, and more.

That 'and more' includes trading card games and comic book related collectibles. There are going to be vendors with Pokémon, Magic The Gathering, Disney, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics cards and collectibles.

For The Shreveport Sports Collector

The show floor will feature over 100 dealer tables, showcasing a wide selection of sports collectibles...everything from cards to jerseys to signed photos. Attendees can expect to find cards from various sports; including baseball, football, basketball, hockey, pro wrestling, and soccer. So if you're looking for a Paul Skenes rookie card, a Joe Burrow serial numbered card, or a Victor Wembanyama Prizm card, this will be your place.

The Shreveport Card Show is such a better place to buy your cards compared to online options, like eBay, because you can actually hold the card before you buy it. You can check out the condition in detail yourself. If you like what you see, you can buy it and leave that day. No stalking tracking numbers and watching your mailbox...you've got the card.

In addition to the extensive selection of cards, the event will also host dealers offering signed memorabilia, custom artwork, jerseys, helmets, and balls, many of which will be authenticated, will be available for purchase.

Pokémon Cards For Sale In Shreveport

If you have a Pokémon collector in the house, the Shreveport Card Show will need to be in your plans. When most people think of a 'card show' they think its all about sports, but this show isn't. Inside the event you will find cases full of shiny, expensive, possibly graded, Pokémon cards. You can often find sealed product available at the show as well.

Just like with sports cards, you can bring your Pokémon cards to trade with the vendors and dealers.

When Is The Shreveport Card Show In August?

The Shreveport Card Show will be open on Saturday, August 1st from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday, August 2nd, from 10 am to 3 pm. Make sure to get your jersey ready, and your trade binder, before the show gets here.
