Shreveport Woman Arrested for Beating Elderly Man

Late last month, Shreveport Police responded to an assault and battery call in the 500 block of Lomax Street.

When SPD got to the scene, Officers spoke with a witness who reported observing Khendrail Griffin hit a 67 year-old victim with a cane.

The investigation showed that Griffin arrived at the house asking for cigarettes and pecans. When the victim declined her request, Griffin hit him several times in the head with the cane.

Griffin was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. The elderly victim received medical treatment and is expected to recover from the injuries.
