Caddo Deputies Arrest Man for Alleged Domestic Incident Involving a Gun
A Caddo Parish Sheriff's Deputy's keen observation led to the peaceful arrest of a domestic violence suspect on Saturday.
The incident began on Friday, when Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving family members at a business on Corporate Drive. During this incident, one family member, 39 year-old Brandon Marshall Lee, allegedly threatened another with a shotgun.
Lee left before CPSO Deputies arrived at the scene. However, he continued to harass and threaten the victim throughout Saturday afternoon. As Deputies worked to obtain an arrest warrant, a Caddo Deputy spotted Lee traveling near his home on Lakeview Drive in Caddo Parish. The Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the suspect fled to his home and barricaded himself inside.
Deputies established a perimeter and began talking with the suspect. Through their de-escalation efforts, they were able to successfully persuade him to exit the residence and surrender peacefully. Their work ensured a safe resolution to the situation while protecting the suspect, the responding deputies, and the surrounding community.
After Lee surrendered, deputies seized two firearms from the residence.
Lee was arrested and charged with speeding, fleeing from an officer, domestic abuse aggravated assault, and cyberstalking.
He was taken to the Caddo Correctional Center and booked on those charges. No bond has been set.
