
Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos November 15th-21st
This week, 79 people were booked and kept in Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.
One of those booked was a habitual offender when it comes to all kinds of theft crimes.
The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest following an investigation in to several cases of theft and fraud.
SPD Property Crimes Detectives, along with with the Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force, arrested Corey Knighton following an extensive investigation.
Knighton now faces a wide range of charges, including:
· Six counts of Theft
· Five counts of Access Device Fraud
· Five counts of Identity Theft
· Four counts of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
· One count of Forgery
The types of crimes connected to Knighton are numerous, and detectives are continuing to investigate additional incidents he may be involved in. Knighton is a known repeat offender, and has a history of theft and white-collar crime.

Another inmate was taken in after being arrested for a domestic violence incident that happened back in May.
Shreveport Police have found and arrested a man wanted for a domestic battery incident that happened back in May of this year.
Officers were dispatched to Colquitt Road in response to a domestic disturbance. When SPD got to the scene, they located a victim with visible injuries. Further investigation revealed that a 9-year-old child was present during the altercation.
The victim identified the suspect as Nicholas Jackson, and Police started the search. Nearly 6 months later, SPD was finally able to catch up with Jackson and arrested him on the following charges.
· One count of Battery of a Dating Partner with Child Endangerment
· One count of Battery of a Dating Partner – Second Offense
Arresting Officers also tacked-on 2 counts of resisting during his arrest.
Shreveport Police always encourages the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of a fugitive.
