Bossier Police Arrest Man Following Early Morning Murder

Early yesterday morning Bossier Police were called to Beverly Street to reports of a shooting.

When BCPD showed up they found a 20 year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the back. The woman was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman was in serious condition while Doctors worked hard to keep her alive. Tragically the woman later died in the hospital.

Bossier Police launched an investigation in to this cold murder and after talking with witnesses and checking security cameras they were able to identify 20-year-old La’Anthony Malik Jeter as the suspect in the shooting.

After a short search BCPD was able to arrest Jeter and charge him with second-degree murder.

The name of the victim has not been released. This tragedy is still under investigation and more will be added to this story as the information is forthcoming.
