Super Shiny Building Blinds Texas Drivers
In 2018 construction was almost complete on the American Airlines Headquarters on Texas State Highway 360 on the outskirts of Fort Worth. According to an NBCFW article from that year, drivers were blinded by the building before it was finished.

The article takes testimony and first-hand statements from multiple drivers in the area. These are their summed-up complaints about the building:
- Slows down daily commutes
- Looks like a big square camera flash that doesn't turn off
- Obliterates your field of vision
After this in-depth report and the accompanying video evidence, something would be done to stop this building's blinding glare, right? You'd lose that bet, and drivers in the area still compare it to casually driving into the sun.
Building Heading Toward Irving From Dallas Slows Traffic
You could get a ticket if you have too many things hanging from your rearview mirror obstructing your view in Texas. Here you have the sun creating a roadblock, but that is fine, everything is fine.
It only happens during a particular time on a sunny, clear day. When it happens it is super sketchy and annoying, but it hasn't caused enough of a disruption to force authorities to have the building take measures to stop the glare.
Super shiny buildings exist in Houston that also give the same effect. If you live in the area and expect it, it's just an annoyance.
If you don't live in these towns and you wonder why traffic is slowing ahead, you never know, it could just be a super shiny building.
