This is one of those topics where I don't really have a particular side I fall on.  I remember as a preteen while visiting my father in Tucson Arizona, my cousin and I were walking through the neighborhood at night and saw, what I was conviced, was a UFO.  I was 12 or 13.  And I've never been accused of being the smartest person in the room.  I remember it didn't move like a 'regular aircraft'... we even flagged down a police car and pointed it out.  Tucson is home of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, which I think my father's neighborhood at the time was near. It was an exciting moment for a 12 year old... but again... no proof of anything.

We've all seen pictures and videos of aircraft, or even just lights that appear then move rapidly and erratically one direction to another before suddenly darting straight up out of sight.  I'm not saying there isn't validity to them, but I also haven't seen any proof or explanation.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there have been 1044 'official' UFO sightings in the State of Louisiana. Even more interesting than that, There have been 51 reported sightings in Shreveport alone (the most recent being back in February).  And if you factor in surrounding areas like Bossier, Haughton, Benton, etc. the numbers are even higher.

Some of the reports list shape, details and descriptions like this one from Benton:

Craft moving and slightly wiggling left to right traveling in one direction

Or this from Shreveport:

Spinning white star-like orbs over Northwest Shreveport, LA

But, like my experience in Tucson, Shreveport Bossier is home to a large Air Force Base.  There are all sorts of aircraft that fly into and out of Barksdale, and we don't know what they might be experimenting with.  And with the advent of drones now, could a lot of these be explained?  I think the prospect of UFO's is exciting, but until we can get more conclusive evidence, I'll just file it away with the Bigfoot photos.
